Phenolic Plywood Boards
Film-Faced Plywood for Industrial Formwork
Film-faced plywood is a high-quality solution, specifically designed to meet the demanding requirements of industrial formwork applications. Its precise manufacturing and technical characteristics ensure durability and exceptional performance in the most challenging construction environments.
Technical Specifications
Core:
- Elliottis-Taeda Pine, renowned for its mechanical resistance (or mechanical strength).
- Mixed Option: Combination of Elliottis-Taeda Pine and Eucalyptus, providing an ideal balance between resistance (strength) and flexibility.
- Manufacturing: Composed of thin layers of pine wood veneers, bonded with WBP phenolic resin.
Coating:
- Phenolic film of 125g/m2, 167g/m2, or 250g/m2, applied on both faces (sides).
- Edges waterproofed with acrylic-based resin to limit moisture and prolong service life (or extend lifespan).
Available Dimensions:
- Thicknesses (mm): 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30.
- Sizes (mm): 2500 x 1250 and 2440 x 1220.
Key Benefits
Origin: Carefully selected wood from Brazil, known for the high quality of its species.
Superior Strength (or Resistance): Thanks to its pine core or pine-eucalyptus mix, it offers excellent load-bearing capacity, ideal for concrete formwork under high stress.
Durability:
- The phenolic film ensures protection against moisture, abrasion, and chemicals used in construction.
- The sealed edges provide additional protection against water infiltration.
Versatility: Suitable for large industrial projects that require repeated use cycles.
Easy Demolding (or Easy Stripping): The smooth surface ensures quick demolding and impeccable concrete finishes.
Main Applications
Industrial Formwork: Construction of buildings, infrastructure, and complex structures.
Projects with Repeated Cycles: Thanks to its durability, it can be reused several times while maintaining excellent performance.
Commitment to Quality
Strict Material Control: Guaranteed by our Brazilian partners, leaders in the timber industry.
Compliance with International Standards: Fully in line with the standards required for industrial formwork materials.
